* PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT *

MAKING IT HAPPEN EVENT PRODUCTION COURSE

A small group hands-on course designed for career exploration and skill development.

Participants will be given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the process of understanding how to produce a n event from A to Z.

This "How To" course will include:

• Exploring Event Concepts

• Producing In-Person, Virtual & Hybrid events

• Teamwork & Decision Making

• Designing & Executing Macro & Micro Plans of Action

• Industry Terms & Elements

• and MUCH MORE!

This is a 6 to 8 week program designed to increase event & project management skills.

Participants will have a first-hand experience on bringing their vision to fruition.

Lessons will be enhanced by Guest Speakers & Facilitators.

Delivery: Virtual, In-Person & Hybrid options / 1to 2 times per week @ 60 to 90 minutes per session / PLUS assignments to be completed between meetings.

*Certificates will be presented upon completion of Program.

"ON LEGACY" WORKSHOP

An immersive group experience connecting yesterday, today and tomorrow through reflection, writing, sharing and storytelling.

Participants will delve into their roots and navigate elements of their own influences on community through a variety of prompts and exercises and walk away with a roadmap for the future.

This 2-session program is an Initiative centered around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB). Sensitive topics are discussed and explored. Everyone is encouraged to participate openly and honestly with respect and loving kindness.

Delivery: Virtual or In-Person Two sessions @ 60 to 90 minutes each / PLUS assignments to be completed between between meetings.

THE POP UP EXHIBIT: A TIDBIT OF HIS-STORY

There's so much to know about the evolution of Latin music. The first exhibit in 2017 was just a snippet of a timeline. Mercado Project: The Man Behind The Music ™ is a journey through a significant 50 year span: touching upon the politics, the social life, the culture and the economics of it all.

Our Pop Up Exhibit transcends the historic time period of the Salsa Explosion, from one of it's heaviest promotors, the legendary Ralph Mercado, through the eyes of his daughter Damaris L Mercado.

Beyond the music, MERCADO PROJECT: The Man Behind The Music ™ highlights the passion, grit and perseverance of a visionary and pioneer, and the many examples of entrepreneurship of a man who took active steps towards “Making IT Happen”.

This video is a snippet of an exhibit held at Museum Village in the Mid-Huson Valley region of New York. It is a walk through reflection of the day & the people who came through to explore, learn, share knowledge and experiences as fans, and support the cause.
